submitted by Robert K. - |Recommended: YesThe Property Is Ok, But It Could Be A Lot Better — I would tell them that the staff is nice, but the parking can be a problem and the neighbors have become unfriendly. When I 1st move here it was a nice clean decent complex. There were a few pets but people were responsible and cleaned up after them, not so much now. There wasn't the smell of marijuana coming through my door everyday, and the neighbors were more considerate of their noise levels.

submitted by Courtney A. - |Recommended: NoPrice Not Commensurate With What Is Given. — Overall I don't hate living at Landmark but the mice problem is of a major concern. I have had pest control in my unit on multiple occasions only to still have the issue remain present. It is very uncomfortable living in an apartment where I feel afraid for my children to play on the floor, I opt to visit laundromats to avoid pulling out the washer for fear of a mouse running out, or I tiptoe out of my room in the middle of the night to avoid possible mice. I have experienced multiple leaks in my unit from the unit above onto my dishes and daughter's bottle's to the point where I threw everything away because I had no idea what else the water touched on it's way down to my unit. I put in a request to have my toilet fixed and was told by the maintenance staff that the issue was corrected...it was not corrected. I was also told my door would be painted and stains from previous paint jobs would be corrected it hasn't happened. The steps or covering on the steps is lifting don't know correct term ...I was told it would be corrected as it is a safety concern that also has not happened. The space at Landmark is easily what brought me to the property, but it's not worth what I am getting in return. I have not had any bad experiences with office staff personally and have always had positive interactions with everyone there. I just cannot live with mice and poor follow-up.

submitted by David B. - |Recommended: NoNot A Great Place To Live — It's just not a very good apartment to live in. The electric bills are extremely high because of the inefficient appliances and heating, I have a 1BR and its regularly 100 . You have to hook your washer up to the kitchen sink to use it which will often cause flooding not only of your apartment but it has caused the apartment above me to flood sending tons of water through the roof of my apartment. Following this incident I asked the the property management to check for mold and they would not even tell me what was checked for or what was found after asking multiple times. The police are frequently visiting buildings in the community and the management doesn't do anything to improve the safety of the community. Maintenance is a nightmare to work with they will close tickets without fixing the problem and do as little work as possible before saying the job is done. Be ready to submit multiple requests before anything will be fixed, that's if your lucky enough for it to ever get fixed at all.

submitted by Angel P. - |Recommended: YesMaintenance — Mr. German Alvarez was very diligent with fixing my bathroom shower knob. He made sure that he got the part for the faucet the same day the work order was placed. Prior to this maintenance issue, he unclogged the sink due to the garbage disposal being overstuffed. German is a great worker and always has great energy when he comes to work.

submitted by Jonathan S. - |Recommended: YesGood And Getting Better — Expect a more spartan interior design. I do love that it is Central Heating and Air in each apartment. The 2br 2ba is great for a roommate situation and the rooms themselves are very spacious. They do a seemingly diligent job of grounds maintenance and trash pick up. I would say maintenance of apartment issues do leave something to be desired but overall not the worst I've experienced. The area is really quiet even for the Hyattsville area, which some would like and others don't. I appreciate it myself and has a more commuter residential feeling than areas now do. I would overall recommend the place, but know what you're getting into.
